The Inventory of Consumables - Recording Adjustments & Transfers & Stock Taking

Roger Wiese

Last Update hace 4 años

All Inventory transactions other than purchases (or initial stock entries) are added in the Inventory Stock on Hand tab.

Before using these options, make sure you are looking at the most recent Stock On Hand levels by setting the date/Time filter to "Now"

If you are not tracking a particular consumable by Storage Location, the Location Transfer option will be disabled. The program will not allow a record to be saved unless the destination location is entered.

The Inter-Business Unit Transfer option will only be available to agCommander Enterprise subscribers.

Below is an Adjustment record. Adjustments can be positive or negative.

If it's easier to enter the Known Stock On Hand ... then that is best done in the Stock Taker (see below). If you want to completely Zero a stock level, the only place to do that to be sure it will be exactly zero is in the Stock Taker.

Stock Taking

Clicking on the "Stock Taking" button will pop up a dedicated window where you can enter in the Observed Stock On Hand for one or more consumables, then click Save to save all changes.

As you enter in the Observed Stock On Hand, you will see the adjustment that will be made to the stock level.

To enter the Observed Stock On Hand, click on the pencil (Edit) icon.
