Livestock Transactions Guide

Allows you to select the stock affected by the transaction. Some transactions allow you to select multiple farms and categories. After changing farm/category selection, press "Apply" to update the stock class tree. Select stock classes for this transaction.


The stock classes shown in the tree will depend on the transaction's date/time and type.

1. Select stock classes (see above)

2. Press "Select Fields" button and select the destination fields/paddocks

3. If you are not moving all livestock in the selected stock classes, press "Alter the Tally Moved..." You can select the Total Livestock Being Moved. You can also adjust the stock tallies. This will create a separate tally adjustment record, which will take place before the move record.

4. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class in the Destination Fields grid to change the attributes of the stock being moved

2. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class to adjust its tally

3. If you are recording causes of death, press the "Details..." button to enter deaths

4. You can add a new cause of death, or press the pencil icon to edit an existing cause. This screen will also let you add a new cause of death by pressing the "+" button.

1. Select stock classes you want to reclass

⚠ You cannot select multiple source and destination stock classes at the same time.

2. Press the "Add" button in the Destination Stock Classes panel

3. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class in the Destination Stock Classes grid to edit its details

1. Select stock classes you want to treat

2. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class to edit the number treated. You can also enter any tally adjustments for the selected stock

3. Now enter the consumable details

4. Press the "Select Operation +" button on the Details panel

This is similar to Veterinary Treatments, as described above.

1. Select females in the Stock Class Selection panel

2. Enter the mating details

3. Select sire stock classes (optional)

4. Press the pencil icon next to a sire stock class to edit its details

5. You can also select Adjust Tallies and Alter Attributes/Descr. in the Operations list if you want to adjust tallies or attributes along with the mating record.

2. Enter the pregnancy test results

3. You can also select Adjust Tallies and Alter Attributes/Descr. in the Operations list if you want to adjust tallies or attributes along with the pregnancy test record.

1. Select the female stock classes in the Stock Class Selection panel

2. Enter the offspring details

3. Press the "Select" button above the Offspring grid to add offspring details

4. You can also select Adjust Tallies and Alter Attributes/Descr. in the Operations list if you want to adjust tallies or attributes along with the birth record.

1. Select Livestock Type

2. Press the "Add" button bring up the Stock Classes form. (You can can also add a new stock class here.)

3. After selecting stock classes, you can press the pencil icon next to a stock class to edit its details

3. Enter extra sales details (optional)

4. Press the pencil icon next to Class / Grade to edit it

3. Select Shearing name and other details

1. Select your stock that you want to send on agistment in the Stock Class Selection panel

2. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class to edit the number being agisted away

3. Enter SMA details. Agistment Vendor is the destination for your stock. Agistment Vendors are configured in the Contacts module. Edit a Contact and tick the "Agistment Vendor" flag.

1. Select the stock that are returning in the Stock Class Selection panel

2. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class to edit its details

You are earning an income by agisting stock from a third party.

1. Press the "Add" button to select the incoming stock classes

2. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class to edit its details

3. Enter SMA details. Agistment Customer is the destination for your stock. Agistment Customer are configured in the Contacts module. Edit a Contact and tick the "Agistment Customer" flag.

1. Select the stock being returned to their owner in the Stock Class Selection panel

2. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class to edit its details

3. Enter SMA details. Agistment Customer is the third party who the stock are being returned to.

1. Select the stock being harvested in the Stock Class Selection panel

2. Press the pencil icon next to a stock class to edit the number harvested

3. Select the production items

4. Enter production details
