Livestock Diary: Hide activity descriptions, i.e. only show icons
When checked, the "Activity" and "Other" columns are condensed into one column. The main activity's icon is shown on the left followed by icons for any associated activities.

Livestock Diary: Show current tally for each Stock Class/Paddock
When checked, you will see the current tally for a stock class/paddock when the date of the most recent record affecting its tally is selected in the diary. For example, if a stock class in a paddock has a tally adjustment on September 3rd, a move on September 4th and a veterinary treatment on September 5th, the stock count record will show on September 4th as that's the latest record affecting tallies for that stock class/paddock.

Livestock Diary: Show stock descriptions on 2nd line
This option is helpful if you are using agCommander on a smaller screen. As highlighted below, stock descriptions will be shown underneath stock class, farm/paddock and tally information.

Record Pasture Monitoring information when moving livestock
Will add the Pasture Monitoring panel to livestock movement records so that you can record pasture information for the selected source and destination paddocks. The Pasture Monitoring panel only shows when adding a new move event. Head over to the Crop Diary to see any pasture information you enter here. Pasture information cannot be entered for the yards.

Allow saving/deleting records that result in negative stock tallies
Note that this option is not recommended. However, this option can be used temporarily to fix up any tally errors, where it might take adding/editing/deleting a few records to clear up the negative tallies.
Move offspring with their mothers
This option will automatically select offspring when their dams are selected for a move. This will happen provided:
(1) the offspring and dam classes are still together in the same paddock (the paddock the birth was recorded in and any paddocks they are subsequently moved to),
(2) the number of days between the birth and move records is less than the pre-defined number of days before weaning for that livestock type (see table below),
(3) both offspring and dam stock classes are visible in the stock selection list,
(4) you select the dam stock class, not when unselecting stock.

When recording a mating, move sires into same paddock as dams
This option will automatically create a move event to put selected sires into the same paddock as the selected dams. A move will not be created for sires that are already in the same paddock as the selected dams. You will only be able to select dams in a single paddock. Only the selected number of sires are moved; if you select less than the total tally available, the remainder will be left behind in their original paddock.

The move event is a separate transaction that is added before the mating event.

When you edit the mating, you will see that the sires paddock matches the dams'. If you have selected the same sire stock class, but in different paddocks, they will be grouped together in the dams' paddock as a single entry. In this case, the minimum Sire Out Date for that stock class will be used.

Add reminders for Sire Out Dates
When selected, a reminder will be added into the system to let you know when to remove the sires from the selected paddock(s).

Select individual animals when entering [certain transactions] (requires IAR module)
Will enable the "Individuals" panel for transactions that support it. As of June 2024, this option is available for supplementary feedings, veterinary treatments, pregnancy tests and production.
This is how it looks for feedings, treatments and production:

For pregnancy tests, you can also specify the test results for each individual:
