1. Setting up agistment vendors & customers
agCommander does not use agistment farms the way PAM did. Instead, contacts can be set as an agistment customer and/or vendor. Agistment customers are used for agistments away/return (expense), and agistment vendors for agistments in/out (income).

Note: A contact can be both an Agistment Customer and Vendor.
2. Agistment Away (Expense)
Enter an agistment away (expense). You can now select your agistment vendor in the SMA.

Save the record and you can see it in the diary. If you have opted to show stock counts, you will see how many have with that agistment vendor.

3. While your stock are away
You can also report on your stock. Here is a sample Stocked Fields Report.

Some transactions can be entered for stock that is agisted away/in.

4. Agistment Return (Expense)
To bring your stock back, enter an Agistment Return (Expense) record.

5. Agistments In (Income)
To agist stock that's owned by a third party, enter an Agistments In (Income).

Select the Livestock Type, then press "+ Add". You can create a new stock class or select an existing one.
Note: Special agistment stock classes are used to receive a third party's stock into. Agisted stock classes end with an asterisk ("*"). You cannot reclass an agistment stock class. This keeps them separate from your own stock.

Enter the agistment details.

6. Agistment Out (Income)
When you are ready to send their stock back, record an Agistment Out (Income).

Enter the details of the stock you are returning. Use the "..." button to select from previous agistments in. That will auto populate the "Original Income / head / Week" and "Days Since Arrival" fields.
