agCommander Enterprise has a facility that enables the synching of the Inventory of Consumables data (Purchases, Consumption, Adjustments and Transfers) with your ERP/Accounting system.
Use the agCommander process described below to avoid data being entered or edited into agCommander after the accounts have been closed off in an end of month process.
Setting the End of Month Lock Date
The data entry and edit lock is set at the Business Unit level on the Business Unit Form as required.
If you ever need to release the lock to edit a past record, you simply change this date

There are various places in the program where this setting takes effect are listed below ...
When adding a new “Actual” record in the Cropping Module a message is displayed when you try to add a record prior to the Lock Date

Editing a record in the Cropping Module Diary View
Any record with a date prior to the Lock Date can not be deleted or edited as the Action Buttons are disabled

Editing a record in the Cropping Module Season View
Any record with a date prior to the Lock Date can not be deleted or edited as the Action Buttons are disabled.
See below, 3 records are editable as they have a job date after the lock date of May 1st.

In the Inventory of Consumables...
By setting the minimum date of the date picker to the Lock Date the date picker looks like this... Dates on or before the Lock Date are not selectable. This setting has been applied to both Adjustments and Transfers.

The same Minimum Date setting has been used on the Stock Taking screen to stop you from creating stock take records prior to the Lock Date
