If you have a weather station and it is connected to a CropX account, then here is how to set up agCommander to fetch your weather data into your Daily Weather history records and for use in the Auto-Weather system.

In agCommander, go to the System Settings > Data Exchange Settings tab shown below

…. and click the Add button to show the form below.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to have obtained your CropX API Key from them or from your account on their website. Copy and Paste the API Key into the form shown below

With that done, your next step is to set up the weather station in the Weather Module. Go to Weather > Configuration > Weather Stations. Click “Add” to see the form shown below.

Enter a name for the weather station. Choose the Data Provider that we set up above… then click on the “Fetch Properties and Sites” button. That will send agCommander off to the CropX server to fetch a list of possible CropX weather stations for you to connect to.
Once the list has been retrieved, you will see a drop down list appear. Choose the appropriate station.

ASSOCIATING YOUR AREAS TO THE WEATHER STATION
Now use the “Assign Fields” (or Blocks .. or whatever you may have used for your production unit area names) tab and select the areas that you want to associate with this weather station. By making those associations, agCommander will know where it needs to look for rainfall data for each of those areas for Water Use Efficiency calculations and also for the Auto-Weather system. If you choose to use the agCommander Auto-Weather feature, as you spray an area and enter your start and finish times for the job, agCommander will know what weather station to retrieve the weather conditions data from based on these associations you have set up.

Now that you have the weather station set up and your areas associated, you can pull down up to 30 days of past weather data into your weather records...
First set up the current year using the " + Add a New Year" button, then click on the "Update data from Data Provider" button.

You will see all the columns become populated with weather data.
