If you have a weather station and it is connected to a Weatherlink.com account, then here is how to set up agCommander to fetch your weather data into both the Automated Job Weather records and Daily Weather history records.

1. In agCommander, go to the System Settings > Data Exchange Settings tab shown below and click the Add button to show the form below

2. Now go to weatherlink.com (Hint: Open it in a new browser tab) and log in to your account and, then click on this button shown below ...

... and on the screen that appears you will see a API Secret and an API Key in the bottom left corner.

agCommander needs those 2 "Keys" indicated below so it knows which data to fetch ...

3. Copy the API Key V2 and paste it into the "API Key" field on the form in agCommander

4. Copy the API Secret and paste it into the "Secret Key" field on the form in agCommander  and then click Save

5. Go to the Weather Module in agCommander and to the Configuration tab and click Add to add a new Weather Station. (If you are wanting to use one of your existing weather stations, that's fine. Just click on the pencil icon to edit that record)

... and on the Weather Station Configuration form enter the local name for the weather station, then choose Weather Link as the Data Provider.

Click on the Fetch Stations button and you will then see a drop down list of the Weatherlink weather station or stations.

Choose the appropriate station name and then choose the Main Sensor.  See below.

5.  To take advantage of agCommander features like Automated Job Weather records and Water Use Efficiency calculations, click on the "Assign Fields" tab on the form and assign the relevant fields to that weather station.

6. To fetch weather data from Weatherlink.com click on the button on the Weather Records tab ... shown below. All the weather data for the currently displayed month will be retrieved in a few seconds and the screen will be refreshed to display the data.
