How do I make a Cropped Area an Un-Cropped Area

For Annual Crops
When recoding a harvest event you'll see a check box asking if this is the last harvest delivery for that cropped area.
That enables you to convert the area to an uncropped area.
If you missed that opportunity, go to Cropping > Season > Cropped Areas .. Edit the cropped area & untick the "Cropped Area Is Active" box

Why don't we just use the harvest event to tell the program the area should now become an un-cropped area?
Because some crops are harvested over & over for months (strawberries & blueberries) and clients often record multiple harvest loads for a cropped area even for crops that are only harvested once. So, we can't assume that a cropped area is no longer a cropped area just because you've recorded a harvest event.
However, you will find an option on the Harvest Delivery details for to make crops area inactive.

For Perennial Crops
The lifespan of a perennial crop is controlled by you setting the start and ending season in the same area of the program where you set up your perennial crops

You first need to go to the configuration -> Farms, Fields section and select the Perennial crops tab as below:

Then edit the row you wish to retire or terminate a perennial crop by clicking the pencil icon as below:

Then enter the season retired to terminate that crop and make it uncropped for the next season:
