When recording a spot spraying event in agCommander, it will use a Rate / 100 units of water as the default rate type, overriding a configured rate type of "per Unit of Area" that you may have set up for the chemical(s) being applied.
To enable this functionality in your agCommander, here are the steps.
Step 1: In Cropping | Configuration | Operations & Assets | Machinery Operations ...
Create an operation called "Spot Spraying" (or similar) and choose the Operation Category "Spot Spraying" ... Save the new Operation
Step 2: If you are using Assets in your records... go to Operations & Assets | Machinery and Other Assets... and set up the asset for spot spraying. Be sure to tick "Is Sprayer or Used to Apply Chemicals" and choose "Spot Sprayer" as your Sprayer type.
Then, click on the "Asset Operations" tab and then select "Show All" and tick your newly created "Spot Sprayer" operation ... Save the Asset
Now you are all set to use your spot sprayer operation & asset (if using assets) in your spraying jobs.
Step 3: Adding Spot Spraying Records
When recording a Spray Job, choose your new Spot Spraying operation where it asks for the "Operation Type".
Having done that, you will see that any chemical that was set up with a default rate type of "per unit of area" will change to a rate per 100 units of water.
Using a "Weedit" or Camera Sprayer Type machine?
Released in version 23.0.7.3
When you choose an Operation type that has the category "Spot Spraying", the Total Mix Volume field becomes enabled and it will allow you to enter the actual total mix used.
Please Note: This feature is only available when spot spraying.

My "Camera Spraying" operation is configured as shown below
