General Information about Reporting

When setting up your parameters to filter the output of a report, if you want to "Select All" of something (e.g. All Crops, All Areas, All Chemicals, All Fertilizers...) you are better off selecting None! Because to the program, selecting none is the equivalent of selecting all the items in a list.
COLUMN MENUS
When the data is displayed in the grid, try using the special menus on each column heading. You have various options on those menus to change the order of columns, hide or show columns & in many cases apply extra filtering. It is these features of the agCommander grids that give you so much power and flexibility. You can also change the order of columns across the grid using drag and drop.
Please be aware though: If you choose to hide columns, they will be hidden next time you run the report...
This is a bit of a trap for young players, so ****please ensure you check the columns menu**** if you suddenly find things missing from your report!

GROUP BY...A POWERFUL FACILITY
Using the "Group By" option will give you the option of showing totals of certain columns (and averages in certain cases) when using the "Show Summaries" option. To see a Summaries Only report, use the "Collapse Details" option.

GENERATING CHARTS
Being able to generate a bar chart from any agCommander report is a very powerful feature.
The steps are simple.
Once you have generated a report, choose one of the "GROUP REPORT BY" options, then click on the "SHOW SUMMARIES" check box. Immediately you will see the "Generate Chart" button appear.
Click on that button to show the chart options.
any data column that has a Total or Average in the summary bands is available for charting.
Choose one or more of those and then click on the "Display Chart of Selected Items" option...

For example, here is a chart of my total fertiliser costs for 2021, grouped by crop
