Yard Sheets

Yard Sheets are a special data entry form for entering trait and weight type records when in the yards. 

The contents of the form is user defined, has a larger font size than normal and has numbers relating to the traits for easier referencing in the yards environment.  

Yards Sheets are designed in the Configuration section 


To add a new Yard Sheet click on the Add button 

1. Give your new Yard Sheet an appropriate name 
2. Drag the Traits for the Yard Sheet from the Available list to the Selected list.

To use Yard Sheets first click on the button shown below 

... to display the Yard Sheet options shown below.

In the screenshot below I have clicked on the 'Switch on "Yards" Mode' button which enables the 'Use Yard Sheet' drop down list.

Choose the appropriate Yard Sheet from the drop down list.

Using Visual IDs

Click your mouse in the Search field and type in the Visual ID of the animal that you are looking at in the yards. 


Using Electronic IDs
If you have an EID scanner and it is "talking to" your laptop via Bluetooth, choose the "Electronic ID" option and scan the tag of the animal.

Either way, as soon as the relevant ID has been entered into the Search field, the Yard Sheet will pop up.

Enter the values as required. Click Save.


Enter the next Visual ID or scan the next EID .. etc.
