There are four record types that you can enter in MindMyAssets 2

1. Service Records (entered on the mobile or desktop application)

2. Checklist Records (entered on the mobile or desktop application)

3. Tyre Replacements (entered on the mobile or desktop application)

4. Overhead Records (entered on the desktop application only)

The instructions below are for the desktop application.

To begin recording any of the record types for an asset, first choose the asset from the listing down the left hand side of the screen.

Then click on the "Add" button

Service Records

As you can see below, you can record who performed the work, its cost, the odometer reading at the time and the date and/or odometer reading for the next service.

If you have set up service packs (as discussed in the MindMyAssets 2 - Configuration article) you can choose the appropriate service pack & click Apply. That will automatically populate the listing of parts and fluids.

Alternatively, click on the "Add" button to record each part of fluid used in the service.

Note the extra tabs across the top of the window. Documents (e.g. Invoices) can be stored with the job, as can any images and notes relating to the service.

The form shown below is displayed when you click on the "Add" button, to add parts of fluids for the service.

Checklist Records

On the main listing page for checklists, you will readily see if there were any issues with the check. There is a count of all checklist items that failed the check showing with a light red background

Below is an example of a checklist entry. You will most likely find that it is easier and more convenient to enter these records on the agCommander mobile app.

To read up on checklists and how they are configured, read the MindMyAssets 2 - Configuration article

Tyre Replacements

As shown in the image below, to enter a tyre replacement is a simple process...

Log Book Records

A Log Book record is an official record/notes of a events or service related to an Asset.

Overhead Records

As shown in the image below, overheads are records of costs associated with assets that don't involve servicing type events or type replacements.
