Harvested Produce Prices - Options and Setup

Last Update 4 năm trước
There are several ways to enter the income for harvested produce. The harvested produce prices are used for your cropped areas income calculations.
FOR ANNUAL CROPS
You can enter an Expected Price Per Harvest Unit in the planting record of a cropped area. In the absence of any other price, agCommander will use that expected price to calculate income in reports.
FOR ALL CROP TYPES
A PRICE IN THE HARVEST DELIVERY RECORD
When you record a harvest delivery you can record a Price Per Harvest Unit per delivery.
OR ...
A DATE STAMPED, LOOKED-UP PRICE FOR EACH HARVEST CLASS
You can set up a Price Per Harvest Unit along with a Start Date against each of your Harvest Classes. As with Input Costs, the Harvest Class Price will be looked up using the date of each harvest record. Of course, you will need to have set up harvest classes and also have used them when recording each harvest delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: agCommander uses the prices entered in a harvest delivery record in preference to the prices set up under harvest classes.
RECOMMENDATION: Use the Harvest Classes Prices system if you are not sure of the price of the produce when entering harvest deliveries. Harvest Class Prices can be set up and maintained at any time, before or after harvest.

You just need to set a start date to ensure that all harvest deliveries from that date until the next price change get that price assigned to them

FOR ANNUAL CROPS
In the Season view, on the Cropped Areas Overview tab, you can edit each record and manually enter an Actual Price Per Harvest Unit for each Cropped Area.
If you entered a price during the recording of the harvest deliveries, or if you have Harvest Class prices set up *before* recording harvest deliveries, the Actual Price will be updated after each delivery.
BUT, PLEASE NOTE: If you import your harvest records (and there are no prices in the imported data), or if you set up your Harvest Class prices AFTER recording harvest deliveries, you will need to use the Tools option on the Cropped Areas Overview tab to update the Actual Total Tonnes AND the Actual Price
