Configuring and using the Dashboard

The dashboard is configurable. Check out the "Configure" panel and click on the help button see below. That should help you understand what's possible.
The video above shows you
* how to open and close the Configure panel
* how to set up your dashboard to view either 1, 2 or 4 columns of widgets down your screen. If you have a large screen you can see more widgets or dashboard panels at once.
* how to drag new dashboard widgets onto the main dashboard area.
* how to drag and drop the widgets within the main dashboard area
* how to maximise a widget to fill your screen
* how to remove a widget from the screen
What it doesn't show you is how you can have multiple instances of the one widget type on your dashboard. For example if you have the livestock module enabled and you have 4 farms, you can drag the Stocking Rates widget onto your main dashboard 4 times and set the farm filter to a different farm for each widget ... see below
The Custom Widget
Clients have asked if its possible to display the contents of another website on the agCommander dashboard
Yes. That is possible... BUT ... it depends entirely on the permissions set inside the other web site. We have no control over those permissions or anything else that goes on within the other web sites.
An example is shown below. The appropriate website address is entered into the Custom Widget and a Title is entered so you can easily identify the widget. If the site has the required permissions, you will see the site embedded into the agCommander dashboard.
