Adding Map Layer Groups

If you have not yet read the KB Article The Mapping Concepts, please do before proceeding

You will need to set up at least one layer group to get started.

Map Layers can't exist without a Layer Group and you can't add a Layer unless you have at least one Layer Group .

Set up your first Layer Group using the option shown below

If you have already set up a Farm or Vineyard, you should find that you already have a Layer Group per Farm. If that is not the case, please use the tools menu option shown here to add the Layer Group, Production Unit Layers, and the View for the Farm.

You may not have a need to add any extra Layer Groups. You can add any number of Layers into the Layer Groups that are created by the program for each Farm.

 
If you have a need to add additional Layer Groups, then read on... 

To add a new Layer Group... click on the Manage Button shown below 

Click OK ... and you will see the new Layer Group name appear.
